Year 3 Pilot Sites
Announced
This year the Supported,
Competitive, Integrated Employment Training Team
(SCIETT) has awarded as pilot sites regional team
members representing the communities of Daytona
Beach and Jacksonville/St.
Augustine. The two pilot site
teams will each receive one 3-day and three 1½ days
of intensive training and follow-along technical
assistance through May 2009 in addition to being
included as members of SCIETT Florida Provider Network.
The purpose of Project
is to provide technical assistance to community stakeholders
to consolidate current initiatives that encourage
and assist supported employment efforts and build
an infrastructure which will sustain a high level
of training and technical assistance on an ongoing
basis.
The Discussion
Forum includes a number of statewide
topics in supported employment has a category dedicated
to each pilot region in the Florida Supported Employment
Training Grant.

You can use this to have job seekers post their resumé
on line (great practice!) or to share job leads.
The Training Center will be a source of articles
and news for you to access.
For us to reach as many of your professional colleages
as possible, please sign them up or have them sign
up to receive our announcements and e-bulletins.
